The information requested through the Youth Dialogues including information requested on www.youthconnect.ca/YPF is collected under the legal authority of the Child and Family Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.11, Section 7 for the purpose of supporting the development of a Youth Policy Framework Report.
The information you provide through the Youth Dialogues including survey responses, transcripts from facilitated online dialogue sessions, participant workbooks from local face to face dialogue sessions, and voice/video recordings will be collected aggregately to inform the development of the Youth Policy Framework Report.
No personal identifiable information (e.g. your name, email address) will be attached to the comments and information you provide through www.youthconnect.ca/YPF. This aggregate information will be shared with ministry staff and third party consultants who are involved in preparing the Youth Policy Framework Report and will not be used for any other purpose.
With your consent or the consent of your parent or guardian, which is required if you are under the age of 16, specific comments you provide may be used as quotes in the Youth Policy Framework Report and other materials related to the Youth Policy Framework Project. No personal identifiable information will be attached to these comments. These comments may be posted online, or used in a ministry report, which may be shared publicly.
Any personal identifiable information you provide is solely for the purpose of registration to participate in a face to face dialogue session or a facilitated online dialogue session through www.youthconnect.ca/YPF.
Demographic information you provide (e.g. your age, sex) will be collected aggregately and used to evaluate the diversity of youth representation in the Youth Dialogues. This information will help us plan outreach and engagement strategies to ensure the voices of youth from the many different communities in Ontario are included.
If you have provided your name and email address, you will be added to the Youth Network in order to provide you with updates on the Youth Policy Framework. Do not provide any personal identifiable information unless it is required for registration or you wish to be added to the Youth Network.
Information you provide including survey responses, participant workbooks, and transcripts from facilitated online dialogues will be stored for ministry records but any personal identifiable information will be removed. Records may be disclosed by the ministry where it is obliged to do so under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, by an order of a court or tribunal or otherwise as required by law.
